Western Province United, also commonly referred to as WP United, is a football (soccer) club, based in Kuilsriver, Cape Town, South Africa. The club was founded in 1998 with the name FC Fortune, by Colin Gie and the former South African football player Quinton Fortune. Ahead of the 2005-06 season, it was renamed to Cape United. In September 2006, they finally settled with the current name of the club: Western Province United FC.

The club so far reached their highest competitive level, when playing at the National First Division in 2006-08. They were invited to play at this level in September 2006, as a substitute for the suddenly liquidated club Bush Bucks from East London. In late 2007, businessman Dumisani Ndlovu, who previously owned Benoni Premier United, purchased WP United. The club was relegated in May 2008 to play in Vodacom League, and was further relegated in May 2011 to SAFA Regional League, being the fourth and lowest level of South African football. The Western Province United FC is currently owned by Western Cape Sport School.
